XO Sports Bar and Grill: Sports, Great Food, and Fun Atmosphere

What a great neighborhood bar! First time there and what a blast! Great food too! The saganaki and "Slim" Jim were fantastic. Nothing slim about the sandwich and the saganaki have Greek town a run for it's money. Speaking of money, you can't beat the incredible prices!

Cannot overstate how much I love this place. There are very few bars I've ever been to that understand their niche as well as XO. The drinks are impeccable and the best priced in town. The servers, Jaime, Amanda, Andrea, sally, Ethan, destiny, Maddy, justice, are all fantastic, friendly, and on the spot. Even when the bar is packed, which it usually is. And the drinks won't bankrupt you. In fact I'd say it's the only place in town where you get your money's worth and then some. Isaac and the rest of the kitchen crew do a top notch job, once again staying perfectly in their lane. It's not a five star Michelin restaurant, but you won't be served the same old bullshit cheapest stuff Gordon Food Service has to offer like most other bars that charge far more. Thirteen dollars for a burger with all the fixins that slaps with a side of hot and fresh fries, taco Tuesday is fire, once again you simply cannot get a better value for money anywhere in the area. Do you like playing pool? They have top notch tables, not full size but well maintained with a roster of friendly good shooters that are regulars. In a world where bars will charge you 15 bucks for a single jack and coke that's maybe 3 oz of actual liquid, or 20 for some mediocre food they microwaved, XO stands above them all. Finally I have to thank Bernard, the owner, who keeps things the way they are, which is absolutely perfect. Unlike many other owners, Bernard gets himself in the mix. On busy weekends, he's on the front line, serving drinks, talking with customers, supporting his employees, keeping order, and ensuring that the experience for customers is just as I've come to love.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this bar was something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and vibrant. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive—always making sure your glass is full and your experience is top-notch. The drink selection is phenomenal, with a great mix of classics and creative house specials that hit the mark every time. Whether you’re out with friends or just unwinding solo, this place makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend—definitely my new go-to spot!

Riding down Jefferson and I saw this spot. Came in just for shits and giggles. When I tell yall this is the BEST margarita I’ve ever had. I gotta ask my waitress if she made it or if the bartender made it. Whoever it was put they whole foot and leg in this margarita. It’s sweet and normally I don’t like sweet drinks, I like to taste my liquor but this margarita is the bomb! It’s a good crowd, everybody chilling watching the Michigan game. I have no complaints.

Love this place! The owners are incredibly personable, and the staff is always quick, attentive, and friendly. You can tell management genuinely cares—prices are fair, portions are generous, and the food is consistently delicious. Whether you're stopping in for a late-night bite or enjoying lunch on the patio, XO delivers every time. Bonus: it's family-friendly, affordable, and has a great neighborhood vibe. Highly recommend!
